Piano Lessons in Edgemont, NY

Scarsdale and Edgemont! My adoptive hometowns! It has been a wonderful area to bring up our 3 children and continue my career in the music biz.

My wife Peree and I met at Hunter College in NYC where I was the jazz dance pianist. When our oldest child was pre-school age, we headed north for the schools and familial surroundings. She’s from Scarsdale and I’m from Larchmont and Mamaroneck.

I was then hired by the Scarsdale Schools Performing Arts Department as district choral accompanist. In my decades there I’ve rotated between all 7 Scarsdale schools and currently accompany at Scarsdale’s Fox Meadow and Quaker Ridge elementary schools. My ability to sight read and play diverse piano styles including classical, Jazz , blues and pop has made the position a perfect fit.

As a performer, I’ve been called upon to play the piano for many Scarsdale, Edgemont and Westchester organizations and celebraties including Westchester Reform Temple, Saint James the Less Church, Fox Meadow Tennis Club, Scarsdale Women’s Club, Scarsdale Golf Club, Assembly member Amy Paulin, Senator Elizabeth Warren and Bill & Hillary Clinton!.

My home studio is conveniently located less than a minute from downtown Scarsdale and 3 minutes from Edgemont making it perfectly located near shopping, restaurants and professinal offices. Remote lessons are given if more convenient via Zoom, Google Meet & Skype.
